Maybe I'm just a sucker, but, every moment that you see Rumple and Belle together, or see them mentioning each other, I'm so overwhelmed with emotion. It's more than just the actors, how incredibly attractive Robert Carlyle is, even with the make-up of the Dark One. It's the chemistry between the two, it's the story, the way you can see the emotions in every glance.
I'm a fan of Labyrinth, of Jareth and Sarah, but... my gods, these two are more. Rumple and Belle.
There's a purity to it, the way she's this brave young woman, already knowing her life is going to be spent with whatever man she's given to, choosing the Dark One, to save her friends, her family. Maybe she gives up her chance to see the world, but... did she really have that chance to begin with? She was already engaged to a shallow knight she never cared for, what loss is it to become a housekeeper at his estate? He isn't looking for 'love', she isn't expected to do more than respect him. So what if he is the Dark One, she decides her own fate.
The way he'd given up on love when he lost his son. Every waking moment, he'd devoted to finding Bae, and then this young woman comes into his life and his heart is there again, and he has love again. But love would take away his powers, and he can't pick his own happiness over his son. He has to send her away, even if it means he'll never get another chance at love.
And then.... she dies. And when Regina tells him, because of her association with him, she was thought tainted, and was mistreated until she threw herself from a tower.... he breaks. You can see that he thought, maybe, maybe I can apologize to her, once I get my boy back, and now it's too late.
But she's alive. She's real. And when Jefferson (The new captain of the SS Rumbelle! Hat's off to the Hatter, go find your daughter!) sets her free, you know, you KNOW the world has just given them a second chance.
His face, when he turns, and the disbelief...
gods. I can't even write.
I love these two.
Love them so much.

Mei wrote an essay!
Eat my sparkles, folks. Here's my essay for advanced comp. It's a compare/contrast between Dream and Jareth. Shuttup, I do not have a problem.
Two kings, alike in temper if not in kingdom, are the leading roles in Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" and Jim Henson's "Labyrinth". Dream, Morpheus, the sandman, is the Lord of Dreams and Prince of Stories. Jareth, the Goblin King, has his own story. However, incarnations of such ideas as dreams often have facets, and with a touch of imagination, one can see Jareth as one such facet of the Dream lord.
Both dream and Jareth are kings of their respective realms, and neither has a queen. However, Dream

Arrghhhh. Ok folks, you'll have to sit back and let Mei rant for a while.
Hell Teen Titans fan fiction writers. Let us get a few things straight, ok?
1.) Raven, Starfire, Blackfire, Bumblebee, Jinx, Terra, Kole, Argent, Pantha, they are not wimps. They can all hold their own in a fight. They are not going to get raped by some ordinary joe. Nor would most super-powered individuals even try. To pull that off they would have to incapacitate them, prevent anyone form being around, and be able to keep them quiet. These girls are not going to sit back and be victims. Even without their powers, they will bite and kick and scream, not to mention th
I need advice.
For all... the maybe one person who might read this: should I start posting my fanfiction here as well as on ff.net to get some more feedback, as ff.net seems to be a cesspool these days, with nearly zero reviewers serious about commenting?
STARDUST!
WHOOO! For everyone who might read this, I am SOO stoked for the Stardust movie that comes out Friday, aka tomorrow.
Neil Gaiman is an amazing author, and the fact one of his books is now a movie is just awesome. I hope he wrote the screenplay himself, as his work on Mirrormask was incredible and no one else should work with his stories.
If you haven't read it, read it now.
it's not his BEST novel, but it is the best pick to make into a motion picture.
and if you've never read any Neil Gaiman, get to a bookstore and shell out a couple hundred bucks to buy the entire Sandman collection and all his novels out of shame. Shame on you for not
